Kashmir Got Humour (also known as Kashmir Got Latent) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you audition, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you register for an audition we collect the details you submit:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Talent category and preferred audition city
  • Instagram handle
  • Your audition video and a profile photo
  • Your written answers about your act
  • Technical data such as IP address, approximate location, device and browser (collected automatically)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

  • Process and shortlist audition applications
  • Contact you about audition slots, rounds and results
  • Review your performance video and photo for casting
  • Improve and secure the show and this website

We never sell your personal data.

3. Videos, Photos & Third Parties

Your audition video and profile photo are uploaded to our secure Cloudinary account. Performances and show clips may also be shared on our YouTube and social channels. Cloudinary and YouTube are independent processors; their own privacy policies apply to data stored on their platforms.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep the site working and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; core features will still work.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your data only with our casting and production team, and with the service providers above strictly for operating the show. We may disclose information if required by Indian law or to protect our rights and participants' safety.

6. Data Retention

We keep audition records only as long as needed for the show and any follow-up seasons, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at kashmirgothumour@gmail.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Participants must be at least 5 years old. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required and a parent or guardian may exercise data rights on the child's behalf.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.
